PineConnector alternatives, compared honestly

Seven real PineConnector alternatives exist as of July 2026, spanning three architectures: self-hosted bridges that execute on your own machine (PlugTrade — our product, disclosed up front — and TradingConnector), cloud relays that forward alerts to an EA you run (AlgoWay, MetaConnector), and fully managed services that run the connection for you (WebhookTrade, TradeSgnl, SignalStack). Every fact below comes from each vendor's own public pages, dated; where a tool beats ours, this page says so. Last verified: July 2026.

The baseline: what PineConnector gives you

PineConnector is the incumbent: operating since 2021, MT4 and MT5, and — per its own about page — 66,000+ traders across 117 countries. Signals route through its cloud: its FAQ states that TradingView alerts are processed via webhook on PineConnector's cloud infrastructure, built on Microsoft Azure, before reaching the EA that runs locally on your machine or VPS — so your broker password stays with you, but a third-party relay sits in your order path. Launch pricing is $59 / $129 / $199 a month in USD for Core / Plus / Pro (Pro marked coming soon; list prices after launch $69 and $149 for the first two, checked 16 September 2026). Its site now states there is no free or paid trial (same check). One thing worth crediting plainly: its docs are extensive. One thing to know before buying: “we do not facilitate refunds”, per its FAQ. Its SL/TP commands (newsltplong/newsltpshort) act on all open positions per symbol side at once, not per position, per its syntax docs (July 2026).

1.PlugTradeour product

The self-hosted option — and the one we make, so judge accordingly.

Full disclosure first: PlugTrade is our product and this list lives on its website — weigh this entry with that in mind. PlugTrade is a desktop app that installs on the Windows VPS where your MT5 terminal already runs. TradingView posts the webhook alert directly to that VPS and PlugTrade executes it locally — no vendor relay sits in the order path. It never asks for your broker password (it attaches to the MT5 terminal you already logged in), ships no analytics, and documents every outbound connection, field by field. Its Track System addresses positions by name, so one alert modifies or closes exactly the position you named — useful when a strategy stacks entries on one symbol.

The honest cons: it is MT5-only, it launched in 2026 with no multi-year track record, its free trial requires a card (PineConnector's doesn't), and it is not the cheapest tool on this page. At the entry and mid tiers it costs roughly a third of PineConnector's launch price ($19–$39 + tax vs $59–$129) — and that is the full extent of the price claim.

MT5 only · self-hosted: TradingView → your own VPS, executed locally, no relay · $19 / $39 / $99 per month + tax (Prop installs on up to 3 of your own VPS) · 7-day free trial, card required, $0 due today · 14-day money-back guarantee

Best for: MT5 traders who want execution on their own VPS with no third-party server in the order path.

2.TradingConnector

Fully local Windows app — the other no-cloud option.

TradingConnector is a Windows application that runs on the same PC as a browser with TradingView open and relays alerts to MT4 or MT5 locally. Its own site describes the process as happening entirely on one machine (“entirely serverless”), with the only external connection being a PayPal license check; the fastest route uses a Chrome extension that intercepts alerts in the browser. It requires 64-bit Windows and supports both MT4 and MT5. Pricing is $14.99/month (or $149/year) for a single account, $49.99/month for multi-account on the same PC plus Interactive Brokers TWS, and $299/month for a remote multi-account tier with white-glove setup. Its terms publish no refund policy either way.

MT4 + MT5 (64-bit Windows) · fully local — TradingView browser and MetaTrader on the same PC, no vendor cloud · $14.99/mo or $149/yr single account · 7-day free trial · refund policy not documented

Best for: traders who run TradingView in a browser on the same Windows machine as MetaTrader and want a cheap, fully local route — including MT4.

3.AlgoWay

The budget cloud router — lowest entry price on this page.

AlgoWay is a cloud webhook router priced per connector: its MetaTrader 5 connector is $7/month and its TradingView connector $9/month — how connectors combine for a full TradingView→MT5 route depends on its pricing model, so check before you buy. Alerts hit AlgoWay's servers, get validated, and are forwarded to an EA (AlgoWayWS-MT5) you install on your own terminal, so it does not hold your broker credentials for MT5. It routes to 22+ destinations — cTrader, TradeLocker, DXTrade, crypto exchanges, futures platforms — but MT4 is not among the platforms it lists. There is a 14-day free trial with no card required; optional VPS rental at $12–$26/month is not included in connector pricing.

MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, crypto exchanges + more — MT4 not listed · cloud relay → EA you install (non-custodial for MT5) · from $7/month per connector · 14-day free trial, no card

Best for: budget-conscious traders automating several platforms from one webhook who accept a cloud relay in the signal path.

4.MetaConnector

The budget lifetime-license option.

MetaConnector (by Combiz Services) automates TradingView alerts to MT4 and MT5 on any broker through an EA you attach to your own terminal plus a webhook service the vendor provides — its FAQ calls the design “a robust semi-cloud architecture”, and the exact routing path is not clearly documented, so don't assume signals avoid its servers. Plans start at $19/month, with a $169 one-time lifetime license covering up to 10 accounts; the published plan terms contain internal inconsistencies (its mid plan is described with two different validity periods), so confirm terms directly before buying. It advertises a 7-day free trial with no card, though its FAQ says trials “may be available on request”.

MT4 + MT5, any broker · EA on your terminal + their webhook service (“semi-cloud”) · from $19/mo; $169 one-time lifetime option · advertises a 7-day free trial

Best for: traders who want a cheap one-time lifetime license for MT4/MT5 automation and accept thinner public documentation.

5.WebhookTrade

Fully managed — they run the connection, and hold your master password.

WebhookTrade removes all infrastructure from your side: no VPS, no EA, no computer left running. To do that, it asks for your platform (MT4/MT5), login number, master password and the exact broker server name, and maintains the connection on its own servers — full credential custody, stated plainly in its docs. Weigh that trade-off deliberately: a third party holding your broker master password has full trading control of your account. A MetaTrader connection costs $14.99/month billed monthly or $9.99/month billed quarterly for one connection, with 3-, 5- and 10-connection tiers above that. There is a 3-day free trial with no card, and no refunds per its terms.

MT4 + MT5 · fully managed cloud — vendor holds your broker login + master password · $14.99/mo (or $9.99/mo billed quarterly) per connection · 3-day free trial, no card · no refunds per terms

Best for: traders who refuse to run any VPS or PC at all and accept handing a third party their broker master password.

6.TradeSgnl

MT5-only managed cloud, with Telegram signals.

TradeSgnl's CloudConnect auto-provisions a dedicated cloud instance running MT5 and its EA: you enter your MT5 broker credentials on their platform and it trades with your browser closed — zero infrastructure on your side, in exchange for your credentials living on their cloud. It automates both TradingView and Telegram signals to MetaTrader 5; MT4 is not mentioned. List pricing is $24.99 / $49.99 / $99.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial, no card required, and no refunds per its terms. (Vendors on this page run promotions from time to time — we quote list prices only.)

MT5 only · CloudConnect — their cloud runs MT5 with your broker credentials · $24.99 / $49.99 / $99.99 per month (list) · 7-day free trial, no card · no refunds per terms

Best for: MT5 traders who want zero infrastructure and Telegram-signal support, and accept their broker credentials living on the vendor’s cloud.

7.SignalStack

Broker-direct order routing, priced per signal.

SignalStack is not a MetaTrader bridge in the usual sense: it is a cloud order-routing service that links to your brokerage account directly. MT5 is covered through 20+ supported MT5 brokers (Pepperstone, IC Markets, OANDA, Forex.com and others); MT4 is not mentioned. It charges per signal — a signal being “a trade order successfully sent to a linked broker account”: a free tier includes 5 signals/month, then $27/month for 50, $97/month for 250 and $340/month for 1,000, with unused signals expiring monthly and no refunds. The arithmetic matters: a strategy firing more than 50 orders a month already outgrows the $27 tier, so per-signal pricing gets expensive for active strategies compared with flat-fee bridges.

MT5 via 20+ supported brokers — MT4 not mentioned · cloud routing linked to your broker account · free 5 signals/mo; $27/mo for 50, $97/mo for 250 · unused signals expire monthly · no refunds

Best for: low-frequency traders — a handful of orders per month — who want broker-direct routing with no software or VPS at all.

Not on this list, and why

  • PickMyTrade — deliberately absent: it automates futures platforms (Tradovate, Rithmic, IBKR, TradeStation, TradeLocker) and does not list MT4/MT5 among its supported platforms (its pricing page, July 2026). It is not a MetaTrader bridge, despite what some search results suggest.
  • Open-source DIY bridges — free TradingView→MT5 webhook bridges exist on GitHub (verified July 2026). Self-hosted like PlugTrade, but unaudited and unsupported: a fair path if you can read, run and maintain the code yourself. No endorsement of any specific repo.
  • A handful of small or new tools whose facts we could only source from their own promotional blogs were left out rather than described thinly.

How to choose

Start with the architecture, not the price. Self-hosted tools (PlugTrade, TradingConnector, DIY) keep execution and credentials on your own machine — maximum control and privacy, but you run the infrastructure. Cloud relays (PineConnector, AlgoWay — and, by its own “semi-cloud” description, MetaConnector) trade a vendor server in your signal path for convenience; your broker password stays with you, but your alerts cross their infrastructure. Fully managed services (WebhookTrade, TradeSgnl, SignalStack) remove all infrastructure from your side — and in WebhookTrade's and TradeSgnl's case, that means your broker credentials live on their servers. None of these models is wrong; they are different answers to who you trust with what.

Then filter by platform. If you are on MT4, PlugTrade is not your tool — PineConnector, TradingConnector, MetaConnector and WebhookTrade cover MT4. If you are on MT5, every tool on this page covers you (SignalStack only through its list of supported brokers), and the choice becomes architecture and price.

Then price, honestly. If the absolute lowest price is the deciding factor, AlgoWay's from-$7/month connectors win — not PlugTrade. If you fire only a few orders a month, SignalStack's free tier or $27 plan can undercut everything. Flat-fee bridges make more sense the more active your strategy is. PlugTrade's case is specific: MT5, your own VPS, no relay, per-position control — at roughly half of PineConnector's month-to-month price, but above the budget tools.

Questions traders ask

Is there a PineConnector alternative that doesn’t route trades through the cloud?

Yes — two tools on this list execute entirely on your own machine. PlugTrade (our product) receives the TradingView webhook directly on your own VPS and executes it locally next to MT5; it is MT5-only. TradingConnector runs on the same Windows PC as your TradingView browser and relays alerts to MT4 or MT5 locally — its site describes the process as “entirely serverless” (verified July 2026). Open-source bridges on GitHub are a third, unsupported path if you can run the code yourself.

What is the cheapest PineConnector alternative?

AlgoWay has the lowest entry pricing on this list, from $7/month per connector (its MT5 connector; the TradingView connector is $9/month — check how connectors combine before buying). TradingConnector is $14.99/month flat for a single account. PlugTrade — our tool — is $19/month + tax and is not the cheapest option; what you pay for is self-hosted execution with no relay.

Which PineConnector alternatives support MT4?

TradingConnector, MetaConnector and WebhookTrade support both MT4 and MT5 (each vendor’s own pages, July 2026). PlugTrade and TradeSgnl are MT5-only; AlgoWay does not list MT4 among its supported platforms; SignalStack lists MT5 brokers only. If you are on MT4, staying with PineConnector is also a legitimate choice — it covers MT4 and has the longest track record in the category.
