Reading a chart that has already happened is reading the ending first. PlugTest puts you in front of the market before it happens, one tick at a time, so you find out how you trade when you do not know what comes next. Then it writes it all down, so you cannot tell yourself a different story afterwards.
01 · Why ticks
A candle is four numbers and no order. The ticks are what actually printed, in the order it printed. So a one-second chart is real, a stop is hit at the moment it was hit, and the excursion of a trade is measured on price instead of guessed from a wick.
02 · The journal
So PlugTest keeps it. Every trade taken in the replay is written down with the chart attached, before you can forget it or improve it in memory. Below, March 2025: twenty-one trades on gold, every number from the ticks.

07 · Getting in
Every member holds three codes. You get one from someone who already trades with it, as a link or as a code to type.
A Windows installer that asks for no administrator rights. Create the account, confirm the email, you are in.
Ticks or candles, any instrument, any source. Updates arrive signed and install themselves from inside the app.

A CSV of ticks (timestamp, bid, ask) or one of OHLC candles. Ticks unlock the second-based timeframes and the MAE/MFE measurements; candles cover everything else. Any instrument, any source.
Yes. It is drawn in your browser from 1,631 real XAUUSD ticks of 7 March 2025, aggregated into candles as they arrive, exactly as the app does. The trade is a long taken at the close of the breakout bar, stop under the low, target at two times the risk. The March journal above comes from the same rule applied to the whole month.
During the invite-only launch seats are granted, not sold. Pricing comes later, and members hear about it first.
Windows, as a desktop application. Updates are checked at start-up, signed, and installed from inside the app.
No. PlugTest is a replay and backtesting tool: there is nothing to connect and nothing goes live. The trading is your job, elsewhere.
On your computer. The CSV stays where you keep it; the index and the journal stay in the app's local storage. Our servers know your account and your invites, nothing more.
